Marlon Lieber is a doctoral candidate at the Institute for English and American Studies at the Goethe-University, Frankfurt. In his dissertation he analyses Colson Whitehead’s novels in the light of recent discussions about African American literature and neoliberalism. Other research interests include Marx’s Critique of Political Economy and Critical Theory.
