Anthony Paul Hayes has a PhD in Philosophy from the Australian National University. He wrote his doctoral thesis on the Situationist International, with a particular emphasis on the group’s transformation from an anti-art to an anti-political avant-garde between 1960 and 1962. He also writes on science fiction, and blogs at the sinister science.
