Philip Bounds is a historian, journalist and critic. He holds a PhD in Politics from the University of Wales and has published a number of books, including Orwell and Marxism (2009), British Communism and the Politics of Literature (2012) and Notes from the End of History (2014). He has recently co-edited British Marxism and Cultural Studies (2016).
